Something to keep in mind is your light source, and how it affects the shading of the entire body. You carried the shading from the trousers up to the face pretty good. But based on the face shading and trouser leg shading, the shoulder area of the vest and where the shirt sleeve enters the vest, should probably be shaded a bit more.
The trick is to apply one point perspective from the light source (imagined off the paper). Try to imagine where you want the light source, then you can use a piece of string and pin it from where you imagine the light source is, to the figure you just drew in rough, and imagine how that light will strike him at all points, and where the light will be partially or fully blocked.
Then there are cast shadows, using the same perspective techniques, only sometimes you need two point perspective to make it look right.
